Use vpn.now on Android right now

The native app is on the way, but you can connect today with the official tunnel app from Google Play. It is free and takes a few minutes.

  1. Install the official tunnel app from Google Play.
  2. Open your dashboard in the phone's browser, add an Android device, and download its config.
  3. Import the file in the tunnel app and turn the tunnel on. For always-on protection, set it as the always-on VPN in Android Settings.

Step-by-step help is in the manual setup guide.

What the native app will bring

  • One-tap connect with the fastest server chosen for you.
  • Always-on VPN and a kill switch, wired into Android's own controls.
  • Per-app rules through split tunneling, so you choose what uses the VPN.

Android-specific protection we are building

Android gives apps real controls for VPNs. The native app will use them, so the protection feels built in, not bolted on.

Always-on VPN

Android can keep a VPN on for you at the system level. The app will register as your always-on VPN, so the tunnel comes up at boot and stays up. You do not have to remember to turn it on each morning.

Per-app split tunneling

You decide which apps use the VPN and which skip it. Send your browser and chat apps through the tunnel, and let a local-only app go direct. The choice is per app, and you can change it any time. Learn more in our split tunneling guide.

Kill switch tied to Android

Android has a built-in block that stops traffic if the VPN drops. The app pairs with it, so apps cannot fall back to your normal connection during a brief reconnect. Our kill switch guide explains why this matters.

Use it today, the same protection

You do not need the native app to get a real tunnel on Android. The official tunnel app gives you the same encryption now, and you can even turn on Android's own always-on setting for it.

  • Set the tunnel app as the always-on VPN in Android Settings, under Network, then VPN
  • Turn on Block connections without VPN there for a kill switch effect
  • Your IP stays hidden from the sites you visit, the same as it will with our app

Yes. Install the official tunnel app from Google Play, add a device in your dashboard, and import the config. Our manual setup guide covers it.

Will it support always-on VPN?

That is a priority. Android's always-on VPN and per-app rules are exactly the kind of control we want the native app to expose.
