About vpn.now in one paragraph
vpn.now is a VPN service built around a simple idea: be honest about what a VPN can do. The service runs on one modern VPN protocol, with native apps for Windows, macOS, Linux, and ChromeOS, plus a free browser based web proxy. Encrypted proxy extensions for Chrome, Firefox, and Opera are planned but not yet released. vpn.now publishes a complete list of every piece of data it stores and refuses the anonymity claims common in the industry. The service is free, with unlimited data, unlimited devices, and speed up to 10 Mbps. Read more on the about page.

Accurate, on the record, and free to use in your coverage.
Honesty over hype
vpn.now publishes every piece of data it stores and avoids the anonymity claims common in the industry. Details are on the transparency page.
One protocol, done well
The service is built on one modern VPN protocol alone, with modern encryption and no weaker fallback. Our security page explains how it is set up.
Keys stay with the user
A fresh key pair is created for each configuration. The private half is delivered over HTTPS and not retained; vpn.now stores only the public key.
What we will not claim

We believe accurate reporting about VPNs helps everyone, and we are glad to explain the technical reality behind any claim.
