How Billing Works
Summary
When vpn.now charges you, how automatic renewals and failed payments are handled, and where to find and download your invoices.

The basics
vpn.now is a subscription. You pay for a billing period up front, monthly or yearly, and the subscription renews automatically at the end of each period. Current prices for both periods are on the pricing page.
You are charged on the same calendar day each period. If you sign up on the 14th with a monthly plan, you renew on the 14th of every month.
Renewals
Renewal is automatic so your VPN never stops working by accident. A few days before a yearly renewal we send a reminder email to the address on your account.
If a renewal payment fails, we retry a few times over several days and email you. Your service keeps working during the retry window. If every retry fails, the subscription is paused until you update your payment method.
A renewal is outside the first 30 day window, so it is not automatically refundable. If a renewal surprised you, contact us anyway. The full rules are in our refund policy.
Invoices and receipts
Every charge produces an invoice. You can view and download all of them from the billing section of your dashboard. Each invoice shows the plan, the period it covers, and the amount paid.
Need an invoice with specific company details for expensing? Contact support and we will help.
Changing how you pay
You can update your card or switch payment methods at any time in the billing section. The new method is used from your next renewal. See payment methods we accept for the full list of options, and cancel your subscription if you want renewals to stop.
