Free VPN and privacy tools
See what your connection reveals, check whether a VPN is working, and choose the right tool for a quick browser task. Each tool explains what its result can and cannot prove.
Check your connection
Start with your public IP, then run the combined leak test if you are connected to a VPN.
What Is My IP?
See the public IP address, provider, and approximate location that websites can observe.
Use it for: a quick before-and-after VPN check.
VPN Leak Test
Run public IP, WebRTC, and IPv6 checks together and learn how to read the result.
Use it for: a broad connection check after connecting.
WebRTC Leak Test
Check whether your browser exposes another public IP through its real-time connection features.
Use it for: a browser-specific leak check.
IPv6 Leak Test
Find out whether IPv6 is reaching websites outside a VPN that protects only IPv4 traffic.
Use it for: checking a dual-stack connection.
Free Web Proxy
Open one public page through our server without installing an app or signing in.
Use it for: a simple page that does not need scripts or a login.
Use the checks in this order
- Check your IP before connecting. Save the address and rough location shown by the IP tool.
- Connect your VPN. Wait until the app says the tunnel is active.
- Run the combined leak test. The public IP should change, with no unexpected WebRTC or IPv6 address.
- Open a focused test when needed. The WebRTC and IPv6 pages explain browser and device fixes in more detail.
A clean test shows what this browser can observe at that moment. It does not make you anonymous, remove cookies, hide accounts you sign in to, or prove that every app on the device uses the same route. Read how to test a VPN connection for a complete checklist. If a result still looks wrong, follow the VPN connection troubleshooting steps.
A web proxy and a VPN solve different problems
The web proxy fetches one public page and shows it through our server. It strips scripts and cannot sign in to a site for you. It does not protect another tab, browser, or app.
A VPN creates an encrypted route for device traffic. It is the better choice for everyday protection on public Wi-Fi or when several apps need the same connection. Our VPN versus proxy guide explains the difference.
