Before you delete

Deleting your account is permanent. Before you go ahead, two things are worth checking:

  • Stop vs delete: if you only want to stop using vpn.now, just disconnect and leave the account in place. It is free, so an unused account costs nothing and your settings wait for you. See stopping or closing your account.
  • Save anything you need: once the account is gone, your device configs cannot be recovered.

How to delete

  1. Log in and open your account settings.
  2. Find the delete account section at the bottom of the page.
  3. Confirm with your password.

vpn.now is free, so there is nothing to cancel first and no final charge to worry about.

Before you confirm, it is worth saving anything you want to keep. Once the account is gone, your device configs cannot be recovered and you would have to create new ones on a fresh account.

What gets removed

When you delete your account we remove your profile, your registered devices, and their VPN configs. Your devices stop connecting within minutes.

We keep only the minimum needed to run your account, and vpn.now is free so there are no payment or invoice records at all. We never stored your browsing activity, DNS queries, or traffic contents in the first place. You can read exactly what we store and for how long on our transparency page.

Changed your mind?

Deleted accounts cannot be restored. If you want to use vpn.now again you are welcome back any time, but you will need to sign up fresh from the sign up page.
