Fix DNS Issues
Websites will not load even though the VPN says connected? It is usually DNS. Reconnect, flush the DNS cache, re-import your config, and test for leaks.
Change one thing at a time
First confirm that the internet works with the VPN disconnected. Then check server status, reconnect, and try the nearest available location. This separates a local internet problem from a tunnel or server problem.
For speed issues, record a baseline before changing settings. For pages that fail while the tunnel says connected, test DNS and check for another security tool that may be intercepting network traffic.

- Test the normal connection with vpn.now off
- Check server status and reconnect
- Record the exact error and the first step that changes it
