Before you start

Add an iOS device on the devices page. The simplest path is to do this in Safari on the iPhone or iPad itself, so the config file downloads straight to the device.

Connect with the tunnel app

  1. Install the official tunnel app from the App Store.
  2. Download your .conf file from the dashboard in Safari.
  3. Open the Files app, tap the config file, and share it to the tunnel app. Or in the tunnel app tap the plus button and choose "Create from file or archive".
  4. Allow iOS to add the VPN configuration when asked.
  5. Toggle the tunnel on.

Our VPN protocol is easy on the battery, which makes it the best choice for phones. Full steps are in the manual tunnel setup guide.
